God created man and woman named Adam and Eve and they were told to create a family and cultivate the land, expanding the Garden of Eden to bring order and beauty to more of the chaos that was going on outside of the garden. He was present and everything inside the Garden was performing at it’s original intent. He creates an area called the Garden of Eden, which is a place of perfection. In the big picture story, we are currently heading towards perfect, that new creation where everything is restored.īut to start things off, in the beginning of the Bible we see that there is chaos all over the earth and out of that chaos God begins to create order through land and life. In one sentence the main theme is that God created something beautiful, humanity chose to go against His plan and the rest of the story is about God chasing after His people, and we see a full restoration at the end. What really matters? Arjuna asks about dharma, the judicious human action that harmonizes with existence’s innate order. What raises the ensuing discussion from the circumstantial to the universal is Arjuna’s big question. Acknowledging that he is caught in a lose-lose situation, (02.06), he turns to Krishna for guidance (02.07). But that means fighting against his extended family who have among their ranks his venerable grandsire and martial teacher. He is expected to fight for his immediate family who have been deceived, dispossessed and dishonored. However, we can’t even seek the big picture if we are too caught in circumstantial questions such as: Why is this happening? Why did that go wrong?
